Aurise Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Aurise (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a mission-based alarm app designed to help users get out of bed and build more consistent morning habits. This Privacy Policy explains what information Aurise uses, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Overview

Aurise stores core alarm and progress information locally on your device so the app can function as intended. Some optional wake-up missions may require device permissions, such as notifications or camera access.

If you choose to use certain photo-based missions, images you submit for mission verification may be sent securely to our server and to third-party AI processing services for the sole purpose of verifying whether the mission was completed.

2. Information We Collect

Aurise may process the following categories of information:

  • Alarm data, such as alarm time, repeat days, selected mission, and related preferences
  • App progress data, such as streaks, badges, morning wins, and consistency statistics
  • Device permission choices, such as whether notifications or camera access have been granted
  • User-submitted mission images, only when you choose a photo-based mission and capture a photo for verification
  • Basic technical or diagnostic information if required to operate, secure, or improve the app

Aurise does not require account creation to use the app.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only to operate and improve Aurise, including to:

  • schedule and manage alarms
  • run wake-up missions
  • verify mission completion
  • track progress, streaks, and badges
  • maintain app functionality, reliability, and security
  • improve the user experience over time

4. Photos and AI Verification

Some Aurise missions, such as photo-based wake-up tasks, require you to capture and submit an image.

When you use one of these missions:

  • the image may be transmitted to our server
  • the image may also be processed by third-party AI service providers
  • the purpose of this processing is only to determine whether the mission has been completed

We do not use these images for advertising. We do not sell your images or personal data.

If you do not want images to be processed in this way, you should avoid using photo-based missions.

5. Data Sharing

We may share limited data with service providers only when necessary to operate Aurise. This may include:

  • cloud or server infrastructure providers
  • AI processing providers used for mission verification
  • analytics or diagnostic providers, if used to maintain app quality

We do not sell personal data.

6. Data Retention

Data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete the app or clear the related data.

Mission images submitted for verification may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to process the request, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. If your actual retention practice is shorter or different, this policy should be updated to match it.

7. Your Choices

You can control certain data use through your device settings, including:

  • Notifications
  • Camera access

You may also stop using photo-based missions at any time.

8. Children’s Privacy

Aurise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information processed through Aurise. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
